What you can expect

As Zoom undergoes a significant cultural and operational transformation across EMEA, we're building a highperformance, accountability-driven culture that requires dedicated expertise in employee relations. The ER Specialist role is critical to managing the increased complexity of ER casework. Ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and supporting our managers through performance management, investigations, and organizational change. This is a specialized, risk-mitigating function that directly enables Zoom's go-forward strategy while maintaining our commitment to fairness, trust, and employee care.

About the Team

You'll join the People Experience (PX) function, working closely with ER Business Partners, PX Business Partners, and Legal teams across EMEA. This role is essential to embedding our performance culture, driving compliance excellence, and ensuring workforce changes are executed with sensitivity and precision. You'll be part of a team that values operational rigor, empathy, and continuous improvement. Particularly as we scale our operations and strengthen employee confidence in Zoom's commitment to fair employment practices.

Responsibilities

  • Managing high-risk employee relations casework including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution

  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations across multiple EMEA countries

  • Partnering with managers and PX Business Partners on performance management cases and underperformance issues

  • Conducting objective investigations and documenting findings with procedural rigor

  • Developing and rolling out HR policies that support our performance-driven culture

  • Monitoring ER metrics and providing risk-mitigation insights through data analysis and reporting

  • Coaching leaders on constructive feedback and consistent application of performance standards

  • Supporting organizational change initiatives with sensitivity and compliance focus

What we’re looking for

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of EMEA employment laws and regulations

  • Apply exceptional communication skills when engaging with managers and employees on sensitive matters

  • Conduct thorough workplace investigations with objectivity and attention to detail

  • Interpret and implement HR policies consistently across diverse situations

  • Evaluate ER data to identify trends and provide actionable insights

  • Manage multiple complex cases simultaneously while maintaining quality and compliance

  • Partner effectively with Legal teams on high-risk employment matters

  • Build trust through empathetic and fair case resolution approaches

Fraudulent Employment Offers

Zoom is aware of scams that involve fake Zoom job listings posted on third-party sites. Responding applicants are contacted primarily over email, InMail and/or chat applications by people impersonating Zoom employees. Eventually a fake offer letter is sent in exchange for personal identification information as part of a fake new-hire screening process.

Please be advised that these offers, communications and impersonations are illegitimate and fraudulent. All communication with Zoom employees come from a “@zoom.us” email address. Zoom job applicants complete an interview process including in-person (on Zoom) meetings and phone calls. Our process also requires you to create an account with our applicant tracking system, Workday.

Zoom will never ask for your personally identifying information during the interview process or ask you to pay money or purchase equipment. If you have received a message from Zoom that appears suspicious, please contact us here.
