What you can expect
As a DevOps Engineer on the ECS platform team, you will maintain and enhance the infrastructure powering seamless virtual experiences for millions of users worldwide. You'll be responsible for ensuring 24/7 platform availability, implementing robust monitoring solutions, and driving operational excellence across our cloud-native infrastructure.
About the Team
Engineering Operations is the backbone of Zoom Email, Calendar and Scheduler reliability and performance. Our team manages the entire platform infrastructure, employing cutting-edge operational strategies and monitoring frameworks to guarantee stability, security, and scalability. We're a collaborative group of engineers passionate about building resilient systems that enable effortless global connectivity.
What we’re looking for
Hold a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
Demonstrate 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Production Operations roles.
Apply proven expertise with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot MySQL and Redis databases in production environments.
Possess expertise of Kubernetes container orchestration, particularly AWS EKS.
Utilize hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Demonstrate proficiency in scripting languages including Python and Shell.
Apply analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose complex system issues.
Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats for cross-functional collaboration.
