Zoom is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Pricing Strategy Analyst to join our Corporate Strategy team. In this high-impact role, you will help drive strategic decision-making by delivering deep business insights through data analysis, model development, and simulations. These strategic decisions will inform monetization strategies, and broader market & company research.
About the Team
You’ll partner with Product, Finance, and Go-To-Market teams to shape decisions that influence the trajectory of Zoom’s business. This is an ideal role for someone who brings together business acumen, quantitative depth (especially with tools like Snowflake and SQL), and a passion for solving complex, ambiguous problems with strategic rigor. In addition, the ability to thrive in an unstructured, collaborative environment with a good level of comfort around sophisticated problems and ambiguous situations is important. This role will require expertise in data manipulation, visualization, and financial modeling skills.
Responsibilities
Pricing Strategy & Monetization Analytics:
Monitoring and analyzing pricing performance across the product portfolio and create a feedback loop to continuously refine and improve monetization strategies based on performance insights.
Simulating pricing and promotion scenarios to understand revenue, margin, and customer impact, and recommend optimizations.
Analyzing discounting trends at customer and market levels; identify areas to improve deal quality and monetization.
Partnering with Sales Ops, Deal Desk, and Monetization teams to identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities.
Partnering closely with data, finance and monetization teams to stay up-to-date with relevant system and business changes.
Strategic Planning & Near Term Growth Opportunity Identification:
Supporting corporate strategy projects with market research, competitive intelligence, and business case modeling.
Contributing to strategic planning efforts, including long-range planning, go-to-market evaluations, and investment prioritization.
Conducting in-depth revenue and product usage analysis using SQL, Excel, and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Tableau) to identify trends, performance drivers, and business opportunities across Zoom’s product and customer base.
Translating raw data into compelling business narratives and actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Working with Data Science teams to develop dashboards and visualizations to track KPIs, customer behavior, and operational metrics.
What we're looking for
4+ years of experience in business or monetization analytics roles in Enterprise SaaS companies or alternatively, in Management Consulting with a focus on technology clients.
Have proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI; knowledge of Python or R a plus.
Have demonstrated ability to translate data insights into compelling visual presentations using PowerPoint, Google slides or equivalent tools for stakeholder communication.
Have good understanding of SaaS business models, subscription economics, and pricing/packaging strategies.
Have excellent problem-solving skills with a structured, hypothesis-driven approach.
Have good verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field; MBA or Master’s a plus but not required.
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$76,800.00Maximum:
$186,200.00In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
