Responsibilities:

• Develop Zoom Device Management(ZDM) with Java language to offer additional remote functionality on devices from the same Zoom web portal;
• ZDM allows you to manage your Zoom Rooms, devices, and Zoom Clients without having to physically engage with each device or be an expert in device management;
• ZDM manages Apple and Windows devices with a standard MDM technology and manages Android with a self-developed SDK based on Java;
• ZDM can manage app upgrade/downgrade; OS upgrade/downgrade; Windows update; and
• network config; also you can assign/remove Zoom Rooms / Workspace / Zoom Phone to a managed device remotely;
• For Zoom clients, ZDM can manage its GPO settings;
• Develop Zoom Workspace project backend server;
• Zoom Workspace is a project that helps company workers to reserve workspaces in the office;
• Responsible for the workspace reserve function including check-in / check-out;
• Working with partners to integrate their hardware into the Zoom workspace platform based on rest API;
• Develop the workspace dashboard to show workspace data tables including usage, reserve, check-in, auto release, etc to admin, so they can easily manage their workspace resources;
• Analyze service performance monitoring data reports generated by Grafana, focusing on HTTP request speed and overall service stability;
• Utilize Checkmark to address potential code security issues;
• Perform security and reliability verification of services using test tools;
• Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities in third-party libraries, leveraging tools like Blackduck;
• Oversee the deployment process for each release version, ensuring a smooth transition to production;
• Monitor service running status and conduct performance tuning using Cube and ZCP platforms;
• Implement hot fixes as needed to address issues in the new release;
• Review customer requirements, categorizing them as features, bugs, or design considerations; and
• Collaborate with product management, support, and sales teams to address customer concerns.

What we're looking for:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent;
• Must have 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupation;
• Must have 5 years of experience in Java language, including JVM, class loading mechanism, performance tuning, multithreading concurrency, IO, network, etc.;
• Must have 5 years of experience in HTTP, Websocket protocol and servlet specification, master Java open source frameworks such as Spring Frameworks, etc.;
• Must have 5 years of experience in high-concurrency programming techniques and design patterns, understanding of NIO, Reactor pattern, Netty, etc.;
• Must have 5 years of experience in design and coding, object-oriented design, object-oriented design principles, master design patterns, and application scenarios;
• Must have 5 years of experience in distributed web-based systems, application security, and familiar with secure development practices; and
• Must have 5 years of experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture, including Spring Cloud, service registration and discovery, configuration management, load balancing, and service mesh. Familiar with service tools like docker.
• Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Position does not require domestic or international travel.

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
