ZVC JAPAN (Zoom) seeks a Business Development Representative (BDR). Perfect for candidates with proven SaaS or inside sales experience.

We need someone who excels at appointment setting. You'll show prospects how Zoom solutions meet their current needs. Ideal candidates are tech-savvy and data-driven.

You'll generate new business through outbound and inbound activities. Work closely with Marketing, Field Sales, CSMs, and global teams to deliver value-based solutions.

Use Zoom's AI platform and the latest sales tech to enhance workflows. Build trust with clients while delivering Zoom's signature happiness.

Position reports to the Inside Sales Manager within the Sales Department. This is the Tokyo-based role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with key decision-makers at mid to large enterprises, understand their business challenges, and present the value of Zoom’s solutions to drive new opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Field Sales (AE) to plan and execute outreach strategies for target accounts, leading both outbound and inbound engagement efforts.

  • Drive multi-touch outreach using various channels such as phone, email, LinkedIn, DM, and video messages to deepen engagement with potential customers.

  • Use Salesforce to accurately log and manage customer information and activity in real-time, enabling data-driven sales execution.

  • Commit to achieving quarterly KPIs, including call volume, opportunity generation, and contribution to revenue, while working toward team growth.

  • Leverage Zoom’s AI-first work platform in your daily operations and act as a pioneer of AI-era sales practices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of sales experience (with a strong preference for inside sales or outbound-focused SaaS sales)

  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed goals; adaptable to change and eager to embrace new sales models

  • Japanese: Native-level proficiency; English: Able to read business documents and compose emails

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives

  • Detail-oriented and persistent in driving toward outcomes

  • Experience with the following tools is a plus:
    - Zoom Meetings, Zoom Phone
    - Salesforce (for CRM and sales activity tracking)
    - Google Workspace
    - Outreach
    - Sales enablement tools such as SanSan, Speeda

【職務内容(詳細)】

  • 中堅〜大手企業の意思決定者(キーマン)との関係構築を通じて、それぞれのビジネス課題を理解し、Zoomソリューションの価値を提案。商談機会の創出をリードしていただきます。

  • マーケティングやフィールドセールス(AE)と連携し、ターゲット企業に対するアプローチ戦略を立案・実行。アウトバウンド/インバウンドの両面から戦略的に顧客開拓を推進します。

  • 電話、メール、SNS(LinkedInなど)、DM、ビデオメッセージなど、複数チャネルを活用したマルチタッチ型のアプローチを実施し、潜在顧客とのエンゲージメントを深めていきます。

  • Salesforceを活用し、顧客情報や活動履歴をリアルタイムかつ正確に記録・管理。データドリブンな営業活動を支えます。

  • 四半期ごとに設定されたKPI(架電数、商談創出件数、受注貢献など)の達成にコミットし、チーム全体での成長を目指します。

  • ZoomのAIファーストワークプラットフォームを自ら業務に取り入れ、AI時代の営業モデルの先駆者として活躍していただきます。

【求めるご経験/スキル】

  • 2年以上の営業経験(特にインサイドセールスやアウトバウンド中心のSaaS営業経験を歓迎)

  • 自ら目標達成に向けて主体的に活動でき、変化に柔軟に対応し、新しいセールスモデルにも前向きにチャレンジできる方

  • 日本語:ネイティブレベル、英語:ビジネス文書の読解・メール作成が可能なレベル

  • シニアレベルを含む多様なステークホルダーに対して、説得力のあるコミュニケーションができる方

  • 細部まで丁寧に対応できる方、粘り強く成果に向かって行動できる方

  • 以下のようなツールの使用経験がある方を歓迎します:
    - Zoom Meetings, Zoom Phone
    - Salesforce(顧客管理・営業活動記録)
    - Google Workspace
    - Outreach
