What you can expect

The Solution Engineer role at Zoom is an exciting and rewarding position. The Solution Engineer acts as a trusted advisor and plays an integral part in delivering Happiness to our customers.

This individual serves as the lead advocate for customers; translating technical needs into product development recommendations, testing of customer environments and driving customer demand/features internally within Zoom. They must be able to understand and articulate Zoom's architectural advantages to our customers and support the Account Executive when it comes to proposing and designing solutions to our customers biggest collaboration challenges.

Through strategic partnerships and a customer-centric approach, they play a pivotal role in expanding Zoom's global presence and ensuring businesses harness the full potential of virtual collaboration.

What we’re looking for

  • Have experience in a pre-sales engineer role
  • Have experience in the unified communications industry
  • Have excellent technical skills and communication skills, able to share knowledge with all levels of customers
  • Be experienced in Voice, Video, Contact Center, VOIP network architecture and technology such as SIP and others
  • Have knowledge of network troubleshooting and terminology including LAN/WAN, Routers, Firewalls, Switches, PBX deployment, etc.
  • Have experience with one or more UCaaS vendors, such as Microsoft, Cisco, Ringcentral
