The Senior Data Platform Engineer partners with Zoom's engineers, data scientists, and product teams. They prioritise commitment to data engineering and teamwork for success on the engaged team. The data platform team extends horizontal support to Zooms business units on their data analytics needs.

About the Team

Zoom's Information Technology team is dedicated to delivering customer happiness, enhancing business efficiency, and fostering agility through innovation, data insights, and automation. Our impact is evident in seamless user experiences, streamlining processes, and supporting Zoom's growth in communication and

collaboration. You will be part of Data platform team under Zoom's global data analytics team.

What we’re looking for

Have experience in Snowflake, Tableau, Airflow, and AWS Services for data environments

8 plus years of relevant software engineering experience in Python in a data-focused role

Have experience with a secondary language like java, C, Go etc

Be Experienced in engineering secure and compliant cloud data platforms, data access control, data residency, retention, FedRamp etc.

Be proficient in SQL and familiar with common design patterns like DataVault2.0, Kimbal, and Inmon.

Possess extensive knowledge of Snowflake, including streaming, security, integration, ML, and cost

monitoring.

Able to Implement and deploy security features (encryption, anonymization, data integrity, policy control)

in large-scale infrastructures.

Be experienced in implementing data infrastructure to comply with GDPR and SOX regulations.
