We are looking for a Small Business Account Executive with the right energy, personal drive, natural curiosity and a track record of success in Sales to join our Small Business team in Amsterdam.
This position involves working with small business clients (employee count of 1 to 50) to provide them the right Zoom services that meet their needs. Working in a defined geographic territory, you will proactively engage with our existing customers, as well as follow up and close on various sources of inbound leads.
Meet or exceed sales and product objectives
Effectively qualify leads and identify prospect needs, engaging technical resources as required
Outbound calling to proactively reach out to your (new and existing) customers to create upsell/cross sell opportunities in your market
Create client demos/presentations, quotes/proposals
Conduct high-level conversations with C-Level and VP -Level Executives to address business needs
Use value based-selling techniques to effectively guide sales processes to close (experience with value based selling and/or for example MEDDPICC)
Develop and maintain business within existing accounts, manage complex sales situations and sales campaigns
Use Salesforce CRM to provide timely and accurate sales activity tracking and status updates
Work strategically with management to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities/challenges, and provide recommended solutions
Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement while creating satisfied customers
Resolve client issues in a timely and thorough manner; escalates issues to manager as appropriate
Keep informed of product line, competition and industry trends that may impact client business activities
3 + years of Account Executive experience in a Technology company
Direct SaaS/Cloud selling experience
Languages required: German and English at min. C1 level
Being fluent in any additional languages is a big plus
Salesforce CRM experience preferred
BA/BS or equivalent experience
SaaS video or web conferencing solutions selling experience preferred
Outbound sales experience to Up-sell and Cross-sell
A proven track record of reaching sales targets, forecasting accuracy and client satisfaction
You need to be able to work in a fast paced environment where you manage multiple sales channels and processes at the same time and still keep the overview
This position requires the ability to develop and maintain business within existing accounts and to manage complex sales situations
You need to be able to learn new things quickly and be able to change and adapt to
new (market) situations
Strong collaboration and relational skills
Must have strong verbal skills with consultative professional business acumen
Must be empathic, curious by nature, organised, responsible, & self-motivated
Must be open to learning new things and be willing to grow
