Role Summary:
A Product Designer in Workvivo will work day to day alongside our engineers, product managers, QA and fellow designer to craft our app. You will be building prototypes, carrying out research, performing design reviews and advocating and refining our design principles and design system on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
Collaborating on a day-to-day basis with product teams to construct and refine our offerings, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company goals, driving the design and execution of high-quality products.
Engaging actively with the design team to enhance methodologies, design systems, and processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, and equipping our product teams with the tools and insights needed to create superior products.
Communicating with customers and internal stakeholders by conducting interviews and collecting insights. Understand their needs, align those requirements with the company's strategic initiatives, and translate them into practical design solutions that enhance user satisfaction and meet business goals.
Actively contribute to the Product and Design culture by identifying opportunities for improvement and suggesting innovative solutions. Engage in continuous learning and collaboration, striving to enhance efficiency and contribute positively to the overall team dynamic.
Desired Skills and Experience:
2+ years of working in a design capacity.
Very comfortable working with Figma (or equivalent, Adobe XD, Sketch), demonstrating expertise in utilizing these platforms to create innovative UI/UX prototypes following and building upon our design system and components.
Comfortable using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, showcasing a strong ability to create and edit visual content, including graphics and images to create assets for our Product.
Solid working knowledge of accessibility standards, with a specific focus on WCAG 2.1 guidelines and an interest in designing inclusive and accessible digital experiences for diverse user needs and abilities.
Experience designing for mobile, web, and responsive design, showcasing understanding of best practices and methodologies for crafting designs that adapt seamlessly to various platforms, devices, and screen sizes.
Ability to conducting comprehensive research, encompassing market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor strategies, to drive informed design decisions and align products with business goals and user needs.
Working with data, with experience in analyzing quantitative and qualitative insights, drawing meaningful conclusions, and integrating these findings into the design process to enhance functionality and user engagement.
