About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong focus on month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger operations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and general ledger activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Journal Entries: Prepare, review, and post accurate journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Account Reconciliations: Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and categorized.
- Financial Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, schedules, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to streamline reconciliation processes and enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Compliance and Audits: Support external audits by providing accurate documentation, reconciliations, and schedules as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, to ensure accurate financial data.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with special projects, such as system implementations, budget preparation, or variance analysis, as assigned.

Your attention to detail, organization and time-management skills will play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting the company’s growth objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on the technology industry ● Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). ● Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, with a proven ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaborating with team members and presenting financial data.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience with process automation or system migrations is a plus.
Annual Salary Range
$100,000 - $140,000 USD
