Wealthfront is looking for a Senior Product Manager to support product development for our Cash Account. The Wealthfront Cash Account is an account that delivers a high yield and $8M FDIC insurance through partner banks. Since its launch in 2019, we’ve continued to lead the way in delivering a best-in-class place for clients to hold their cash savings, adding checking features, free same day transfers, free wire transfers, custom sub-account categories, automated savings rules, fast investing and an innovative APY boost referral program. This product is a foundational pillar of our vision to make it delightfully easy for our clients to grow their wealth in any market condition - we’re just getting started.
In this role, you’ll partner with the Cash Product Lead and a high-performing cross-functional team to deliver the features and benefits our clients are demanding most. This includes the continued development of our money management features to make it delightfully easy for our clients to understand and manage their cash savings, ultimately encouraging more of them to adopt Wealthfront as their primary day-to-day operating account. You’ll use quantitative and qualitative research to drive high quality product decision-making that results in successful products. The role requires analytical rigor and a willingness to get into the details to understand our existing systems and partners as well as new technological capabilities that can be applied to deliver great consumer experiences. Success in this role requires a healthy balance of executional excellence and strategic thinking.
This is a unique opportunity to rethink traditional financial products from the ground up, using software to offer superior product experiences that help our clients get more out of their money. If this gets you excited, we want to hear from you!

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience in a consumer software company; experience in building financial technology products is a plus.

  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem solving and decision-making.
  • Strong product sense. You’re passionate about building delightful product experiences.
  • Experience working with complex or highly regulated products, especially those that depend on external partners to deliver the desired features.

  • Use customer and business insights to frame the most important problems and opportunities, and rally the team around developing the best ways to address them.

About Wealthfront
Wealthfront started with the ambition to transform the investment advisory business, with the goal to unlock access to high quality investment advice for millions who were underserved by the traditional institutions. We built one of the first automated investment products that allows you to invest in a personalized portfolio of thousands of companies in seconds for a remarkably low fee. We then expanded. We now work with partner banks to offer exceptional banking features through a Wealthfront Brokerage Cash Account, which makes it remarkably easy for people to automate their finances end-to-end and eliminated the hassle of money management, all of which resulted in attracting more than $50 billion of our client’s hard earned money, pioneering the robo-advisor category and transforming the broader industry. And yet, we have a long way to go to achieve our mission to build a financial system that favors people, not institutions.
Wealthfront’s vision is to make it delightfully easy to build long-term wealth on your own terms. This vision is more relevant than ever because millions more people are getting into the market early and investing their hard earned savings in a handful of stocks. While this is a great way to start, it is inconsistent with building long-term wealth. We want to empower young investors to expand their horizon, and easily explore and execute on a wider range of investing strategies, make informed investment decisions that are consistent with their values and beliefs while also making it effortless to grow and compound their savings exponentially in a way that’s transformational to their lives and their long-term future.
