Head of Supply Chain

You’ll own the complete supply chain and manufacturing strategy for our robotics products — from vendor selection and negotiation to production readiness, quality, and delivery. This role is for someone who moves fast, executes flawlessly, and can build a world-class hardware supply chain from the ground up.

Requirements

• Proven experience owning supply chain for high-volume hardware products, from prototype through mass production.

• Deep expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, forecasting, and cost optimization across complex multi-tier supply chains.

• Strong background coordinating with contract manufacturers (CMs), component suppliers, logistics partners, and quality teams.

• Ability to evaluate and qualify vendors quickly, set up scalable processes, and ensure consistent supply under aggressive timelines.

• Experience building NPI, sourcing, procurement, and production operations for sophisticated electro-mechanical systems.

• Strong understanding of DFM/DFT, material planning (MRP), lead times, and risk mitigation for critical components.

• Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with rapid iteration, incomplete information, and shifting requirements.

• Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus, especially for working directly with Asian suppliers and CMs.

What You’ll Do

• Own the end-to-end supply chain for all hardware products — sourcing, procurement, vendor management, logistics, and manufacturing operations.

• Build and scale relationships with suppliers and CMs, ensuring capacity, quality, and reliability.

• Drive cost-down initiatives, supply security, and operational resilience across all components and assemblies.

• Develop processes for forecasting, planning, inventory control, and build readiness as we scale production.

• Work closely with hardware, mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to integrate supply chain decisions into product design.

• Travel regularly to factories and suppliers to maintain tight execution, resolve issues quickly, and ensure on-the-ground alignment.

• Move quickly and independently to build a robust, high-performance supply chain capable of supporting rapid growth.
