Responsibilities:
- Own and manage our HRIS (ADP Workforce Now), ensuring data integrity, system optimization, and troubleshooting as needed
- Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and data analyses to support People metrics and company-wide reporting needs
- Manipulate and analyze data in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas, etc.) for compensation, benefits, headcount, and compliance reporting
- Partner with Finance, payroll and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between People data and business processes.
- Support administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollments, life events, audits, and compliance reporting
- Assist in compensation processes such as benchmarking, data analysis, and pay equity reviews
- Support People-related projects, including process improvements, compliance audits, and implementation of new tools or systems
- Maintain and enhance process documentation and SOPs to ensure scalable People Operations infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, and support audits as needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Recruiting, IT, Finance and other departments to deliver a seamless employee experience
The Team:
You will report to the Sr. Manager, People Operations and partner with the collective People team on the full spectrum of HR responsibilities, including but not limited to HRIS system management, compliance, benefits administration, payroll operations and data analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a related field, with a strong technical focus
- Experience supporting benefits administration, payroll operations, and compensation processes
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (preferred) or similar HRIS platforms
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, nested formulas, data validation, etc.)
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into action
- Strong project management skills; PMP certification is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a process-oriented mindset
- Clear communicator with the ability to influence and build trust across stakeholders
- Passion for building scalable, compliant, and employee-friendly People processes
Nice to Have:
- Experience with other systems like Tilt or Pave
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
- Knowledge of employment law and compliance best practices across multiple states
Compensation:
Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $96,000.00 - $105,000.00.
